- 1 1โ2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1โ2 tsp salt
- 1โ2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1โ2 cup whole milk, room temperature
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 8 oz dark chocolate (70% cocoa), melted
- 8 oz milk chocolate, melted
- 8 oz white chocolate, melted
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (optional for glaze)
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter (optional for glaze)

1. Make the Cake: Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (180ยฐC). Grab a 9-inch round cake pan, then line and grease it to prevent sticking. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder until well combined. Now, add the milk, eggs, and vanilla extractโmix until you get a smooth batter. 2. Prepare the Mousse Layers: Melt each type of chocolate (dark, milk, and white) separatelyโgive them a moment to cool slightly. While they cool, whip the heavy cream with sugar and vanilla extract until you reach stiff peaks. 3. Assemble the Cake: Place your cooled cake layer on a serving plate or in a springform pan. Itโs time to get creativeโspread the dark chocolate mousse first, then the milk chocolate mousse, and finish with the white chocolate mousse.
