Trial Lawyer representing clients harmed or killed in car accidents, 18-wheeler crashes, premises liability, and workplace injuries. Of course!

It’s been a big week for my Plaintiff’s Litigation Firm: JDA Trials.

For 2026 I’ve stayed dialed in on daily ex*****on of my business strategy of being a volume litigation partner for personal injury firms with cases needing to be litigated. Premises Liability/Motor Vehicle Accidents/Wrongful Repossessions. Stopped all the planning. Quit expecting everything to change all at once. Dialed in on incremental progress. And now I continue to see results.

This week we added test cases from four additional Personal Injury Law Firms trusting us to litigate cases for their clients. Three PI firms based in Texas and one based in Florida. A road rage commercial MVA in Austin; a premises liability case in San Antonio; a non-subscriber workplace injury in Houston; and a wild wrongful repossession where a repo agent pulled a gun on our client and is now probably reading this post from his new home in the county jail.

Promising new prospects this week too. Received a call from a well-known local PI firm that will be sending us some cases to take a look at. And had a warm introduction to a national PI firm needing a partner for premises liability cases in Texas.

Finalized arrangements bringing on a former Litigation Associate from Holland & Knight who I worked with during my BigLaw years. She went on to work with a top-tier plaintiff’s firm and as an Executive Director/Adjunct Professor at UH Law for Moot Court and Appellate Advocacy. She will be a huge asset for our partner PI firms.

A good plan, violently executed now, is better than a perfect plan next week. - Gen. Patton

Onward and upward!

Hey Houston, ever wonder what it looks like from a car's POV to be run over by an 18-wheeler on Highway 59? Now ya know. Pretty scary! Trucker took off and thought he got away with it. We tracked him and his insurance down, filed the lawsuit, and this week we inspected the tractor and trailer with our expert witness. Now JDA Trials and our co-counsel Dhanani Law are bringing the heat until we get a full recovery for our client!

The wreck occurred on the afternoon of Monday, March 2nd on I-69/US-59 South in the Sugar Land area near the Grand Parkway interchange. If you have any information please contact attorney Jeff Anderson at (832) 507-9535 or [email protected]. Thank you HTX!

What happens when you are an executive transportation company that lies to the cops in an effort to CYA? You pay a 4.5x premium multiplier when your customer hires JDA Trials to represent him and attorney Jeffrey D. Anderson finds all the bodies in the attic.

Company driver told first responders that he swerved to avoid a block in the road. A Biglaw attorney in Dallas refers the injured customer to me. I file suit and force the company to give up the video that reveals the truth. Within six months of the crash my client gets paid far more than he anticipated.

If you have been injured in a car crash, workplace accident, or premise liability incident, please reach out to Attorney Jeffrey D. Anderson at (832) 507-9535 or [email protected] for a free consultation.

PONZI SCHEME LAWSUIT FILED IN AUSTIN, TX: Attorney Jeffrey D. Anderson from Texas litigation law firm JDA Trials LLC has filed a lawsuit on behalf of an investor who entrusted her hard-earned life savings to an Austin financial advisor, only to discover they were siphoned off in a Ponzi-like scheme. The suit, filed in Travis County District Court, targets Ronald Dewayne Smith, Jr., his firm Smith Wealth Advisors, LLC, and financial giants TD Ameritrade, Inc., and Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., alleging fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and negligence that enabled the theft of over $1.4 million from multiple clients. The Texas State Securities Board revoked Smith’s registration in October 2025 after uncovering the scheme.

Jeff Anderson, a former Litigation Partner at a highly-ranked AmLaw 25 BigLaw firm, brings deep experience in securities and investment fraud litigation and is the Past Chair of the Securities Litigation & Arbitration Section of the Houston Bar Association. Jeff Anderson has handled high-stakes financial litigation involving penny stock pump-and-dump schemes, offshore variable annuities, non-traded REITs, and various complex securities fraud matters, recovering millions for defrauded investors from financial advisors, broker-dealers, and institutions. Drawing from his biglaw tenure, Jeff Anderson emphasizes leveraging specialized expertise to level the playing field against powerful defendants. To that end, he has teamed up with co-counsel Tyler Highful, a Harvard Law graduate who spent a decade at King & Spalding handling securities litigation matters. The lawsuit seeks over $1 million in damages, including actual losses, exemplary damages, disgorgement of ill-gotten gains, and attorney fees.

Local attorneys Jeffrey D. Anderson and Cindy Pulcher Bridges have launched an investigation of potential civil claims against a local Houston hospital and one of its Patient Directors following the recent discovery of hidden cameras in multiple restrooms at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands. Montgomery County Law Enforcement has recovered 300+ lewd images and recordings of unsuspecting individuals using hospital restrooms. Given the immense scope and severity of this privacy breach it is likely that victims include Memorial Hermann staff, hospital patients, visitors, and minor children.

As a Trial Attorney who represents victims of 18-wheeler accidents, the tragic crash on a bridge in Texas near the Mexico border that killed 5 people and sent 7 more to the hospital feels far too similar to a separate tractor-trailer crash I handled recently.

Here is some information that I hope will help people who find themselves in the tragic aftermath of a crash with a semi-truck.

1) Don’t skip on talking with a lawyer due to undocumented immigration status. I’ve recovered millions of dollars for clients who were Mexican Citizens without legal status in the U.S. Your citizenship/resident status does not prevent you from bringing a claim in Texas.

2) Call a lawyer even if you think you may be partly responsible. I’ve had clients who didn’t have driver’s licenses or who received tickets from the crash for traffic violations the police believed they had committed during the crash. I still was able to recover damages for those clients.

It's important to realize that truck drivers are held to a higher standard than others on public roads. Truckers are Professional Drivers with special training, licenses, and their own set of rules and regulations to follow.

3) Texas has a Wrongful Death statute that allows various family members to be part of any claims or lawsuit brought against the 18-Wheeler Company, Truck Driver, and others. Family members do not have to have been part of the accident or even in the same state where it happened.

4) It’s best to hire a lawyer experienced with 18-wheeler accidents and to do it quickly. For example, in the similar crash I handled, the victims' families only knew that the truck driver wasn’t able to stop in time and swerved head-on into their loved ones' lane. But when I started digging, I uncovered terrible things the trucking company would never reveal unless pushed hard by an attorney who knew where to look.

My investigation revealed that the Truck Driver was distracted and scrolling through his cell phone in the moments before the crash;
he was also on video yawning and rubbing his eyes as he approached the bridge. He had been driving overnight and was exhausted.

On top of all this, it was raining at the time of the crash and the download of the Tractor’s blackbox showed that the tractor-trailer was speeding despite the steady rain on the roads that day.

If your loved ones find themselves in unfair circumstances like these, please call or text me for a fast and free case review. I won’t charge you to talk with me and there is no obligation to hire me after. Spanish consultations are available. No legal fee unless I win your case.

Stay safe!
