The U. S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has published its proposed rule for revisions to the meal pattern requirements in the Child Nutrition Programs. These proposed rules represent major changes in the federal feeding programs and the foods that may be served to students in schools. All stakeholders, including all school and community partners, are asked to read over the proposed regulation and comment within the comment period that closes on April 10, 2023.
