Easton Park, a Brookfield Residential development, is a 2,700 acre community located in southeast Austin. This vibrant community will be home to 13,000 residents upon completion.

Easton Park offers so many great perks to its residents. It has an abundance of amenity spaces, including several parks, a huge, central amenity center, playgrounds, a splashpad, pool, gym, dog park, and over 13 miles of trails!

META has been involved with Easton Park since 2019, actively designing the future sections for the southern half of the development, providing conceptual, schematic, and site planning services for this community. When creating the plans for this development, we strived to balance its urban vibrancy with suburban practicality by harmonizing density with multiple options and routes for residents to utilize the abundance of open spaces within the master planned community. We also considered the future growth areas and land uses, based on ever-evolving development needs. The plans we created have been instrumental in allowing Brookfield Residential to develop a livable, sustainable community that blends modern amenities with serene landscapes.

🎇 META PROJECT SPOTLIGHT - ELYSON 🎇

This month, we are showcasing one of our biggest projects to date, Elyson, an ongoing Master Planned Community by Brookfield Properties, in north Katy, off the Grand Parkway. At completion, Elyson will have around 6,000 homes on over 3,600 acres of the beautiful Katy Prairie. The META Team has been a vital part of the growth and development of Elyson from the very beginning and has ensured it become an outstanding community for residents to live, grow, and thrive.

We have provided planning and design expertise through conceptual and schematic designs, and supplied preliminary platting and agency coordination efforts through the City of Houston and Harris County. Every Master Planned Community is unique and has its own set of challenges, and Elyson is no exception. Through our creative problem solving and collaborative coordination with the development team, city, and county, we have worked to create opportunities out of hurdles.

Our designs have provided Elyson with numerous parks and amenity spaces throughout the community, including miles of walking trails along its lakes and channels, allowing residents to foster an active lifestyle and to easily connect with one another. Elyson continues to rank among the top-50 best-selling Master Planned Communities in the country, and will proceed to thrive and grow as new amenity centers and parks are continually added, including many new commercial opportunities. We love seeing Elyson’s consistent success and look forward to watching all our plans come to fruition in the near future!
