Girl Scouts Cookie sales table and Ezzell Fire Dept will have an information table. (Speaks is in Ezzell assigned area)… an evening of fun and food!

On Thursday, June 5, 2025, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the Edna Police Department, executed a search warrant at Blizzy n Blend Smoke and V**e Shop in Edna following reports of illegal activity.

The investigation was initiated after authorities received credible information regarding the presence of illegal gambling machines and the sale of THC v**es to minors. THC is considered a felony, not a misdemeanor, being a penalty group 2 drug.

During the search, deputies located and seized three illegal gambling devices (commonly referred to as 8-liner machines), along with a large quantity of v**e products containing illegal levels of THC.

Throughout the school year, law enforcement officials have been working closely with local school administrators, who report a concerning increase in the number of v**es found in the possession of minors. Authorities are particularly concerned about the rising trend of underage v**e use, especially the growing risk that these devices could be laced with dangerous substances such as fentanyl.

The sale of illegal products—particularly those that threaten the safety of our youth—will not be tolerated. We remain committed to protecting our community, reducing crime, and keeping harmful substances out of the hands of minors.

The investigation remains ongoing, and charges are pending.

Work day! Cattle round up and taken away! 4 Cowboys & 3 land hands vs 61 head. Actually only a couple escaped today but were rounded back up quickly! Off to the sale barn…I can’t watch it… took these pics and went back to the house! I know I’ll hear some baby’s bawling tonight🥹🥲
