Hard freeze coming our way! Greetings, the National Weather Service is predicting a very hard freeze coming Thursday afternoon with temps dropping precipitously and staying well below freezing through Saturday.

The national weather service is predicting overnight lows in the upper 20's. I recommend at a minimum wrapping your PVB (above ground sprinkler shut off) with an old towel etc. to keep it from freezing. Even better shut the system off with the two valve handles and open the two small test c***s to drain off the water then wrap with a towel.

Additionally cover any tender plants and those with new growth.
