Fitness and faith go hand in hand! He is our source of strength!

Some of you asked what our church gym looks like. It's pretty nice! It has several exercise rooms that you can't see, a daycare that actually changes diapers and a really nice locker room. Oh, and it even has a restaurant inside with healthy lunch options. It's really tough to beat!

Action expresses priorities. If you want to know where your faith, fitness, career, friends, or family are in your list of priorities look at your actions. What do you spend the most time, effort, money, and thought on? Be honest with yourself. If your priorities are in the right order than big things will happen in your life. There will be a balance. Our Father needs to be put first. He gave us breath, strength, and endurance. Our bodies are His temple. He also blessed us with a family, a career, unique gifts and talents, and community. Thank Him and put your Father in heaven first and everything else will fall into place. My devotion today read, "When we look at his glory and holiness, he gives us his perspective and everything else pales in comparison. But when our business pushes worship aside and our focus gets off of God and onto the things of this world or ourselves, we lose our way."

Let's just say life has been crazy! We have moved across country, started our civilian life, and added another baby boy! One thing that has not changed is my passion for fitness and family. I am currently in the process of becoming recertified as a personal and group fitness trainer. I will continue to keep everyone updated on the progress. I look forward to meeting new people, developing individualized and group fitness plans and encouraging a healthy lifestyle for the families here in North Carolina!
