The evening began with an outstanding performance by Small Town, whose talent, energy, and stage presence kicked off the 25th Annual Valentine Celebration in spectacular fashion. Their performance immediately energized the crowd and set the tone for an unforgettable evening of entertainment and philanthropy.
One of the most exciting additions to this year's Valentine Celebration was the debut of Stormin' the Stage for a Cause. Rio Grande Football and University of Rio Grande Cheerleading split into two rival teams, Red Alert and Storm Surge, bringing plenty of energy, creativity, and competitive spirit to the stage. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and the crowd was treated to an unforgettable showdown. After an entertaining battle, Storm Surge emerged victorious as this year's champions. Congratulations, Storm Surge!
The excitement continued with our 10th Annual Local Celebrity Lip-Sync Battle, featuring incredible performances from St. Joseph Catholic Schools (St. Joseph Catholic School and St. Joseph Central Catholic High School), Heart of Phoenix Equine Rescue, INC, EveryBODY Fitness, and Sandy's Cares. Each team brought unique and unforgettable moments to the stage.
Congratulations to Heart of Phoenix Equine Rescue for capturing the title with their country flair, line dancing, and a special appearance by Calamity the mule!
To every participant, coach, cheerleader, volunteer, and supporter who helped bring these performances to life, thank you. The countless hours spent planning and rehearsing created memories that will last long after the final curtain call.
Thank you for sharing your time, talents, and enthusiasm in support of DTC's mission. You helped make our 25th Annual Valentine Celebration one for the record books. ❤️
