Rain threatened to cancel this session yesterday. It was pretty gloomy for the first 45 minutes of their photos. We were about to call it an evening, but Isabella noticed light coming through. We were able to chase the sun to the top of the courthouse steps. Aren't these absolutely magical?! 🥹

I’m honored to be featured as a cocky business 👌 I’m thankful for my time at JSU and all the skills that came with it. My main job right now is raising babies (which is touched on in the article) but I am so incredibly thankful for all of my wonderful clients that support my small business. I find it funny that they included my quote about shooting ✨anything✨ in the caption. That’s what really keeps me going, all of you that choose me to capture all of your big moments.

Joanna Clem (‘17) is finding balance in her hometown of Athens, Alabama. The proud mother of two is the owner of Clem Photo Co., capturing life’s biggest moments behind the camera. She graduated from Jax State in business with a concentration in marketing and a minor in art.

Clem photographs everything from newborns and weddings to graduations and funerals. She loves that her clients invite her along to all their biggest moments and milestones, and prides herself on being there for every chapter of their lives.
