Healthy and delicious nutrition!

This overnight oats recipe was shared with me by my daughter, who has been on her own health journey—not only for herself, but also to nourish her young family and husband.

Several years ago, I could not have imagined taking the time to prepare something like this, much less truly enjoying it. But I have discovered how delicious it is, and it has now become a routine part of both my morning breakfast and my husband’s.

Gluten-free organic whole oats, flaxseed, chia seeds, organic cinnamon, vanilla, and other yummy ingredients soaked overnight in almond milk. You can enjoy them cold, but we love them warmed with organic fruit and just a few drops of organic honey.

Just more proof that healthy nutrition can be simple, enjoyable, and delicious.

I truly love what I do. There is such a sense of accomplishment and inner peace that comes from creating a beautiful, polished, and inviting home. Decorating, organizing, editing, and rearranging can completely transform a space and breathe fresh life into it.

Staging is one of my absolute favorite areas of interior design because it brings everything together. It is where experience, creativity, strategy, and design instinct all meet. Every home presents a new challenge — understanding the architecture, enhancing the flow, highlighting the best features, and creating an emotional connection for potential buyers.

Staging a home before photographing and listing it for sale is absolutely crucial. Sellers must understand that once a home hits the market, it enters a transactional stage of living. At that point, it is no longer about personal emotions or even complete comfort. The goal is to present the home in a way that allows every potential buyer to envision themselves living there.

Buyers are not purchasing our furniture, artwork, collections, or clutter. They are purchasing a lifestyle, a feeling, and the potential of the space itself.

A home should be viewed through the lens of a magazine photoshoot. Does oversized furniture block the scale of a room, architectural features, or a beautiful view? Is there an unattractive view that should be softened or redirected? Are the walls filled with personal photos and artwork that distract from the home itself? Are bookshelves, countertops, and dressers overcrowded with keepsakes and décor?

Great staging is not simply decorating. It is strategic preparation that makes a home stand out online, in photographs, during showings, and at open houses.

The details always matter. They are often what separates a home that sits from a home that sells. The Baldwin Group by Susan Baldwin
