It’s only a whiteboard but you would be amazed at what it brings up for me.

Is her choice reliable? Does she really know what she wants? This whole assuming competence thing requires me to be far less focused on outcomes and more engaged in connection in whichever form it may arise.

My over-analytical, hypervigilant brain needs to get out of the way again and again to just allow any form of communication to emerge.

This brings up some profound questions and realizations for me. Our connection is less about getting it right and more about tuning into the other. Since I know my thoughts and energy create my reality… I am curious to see what will emerge from my new perspective, tools and actions.

What can we expect to hear from the establishment about spelling?

They have become so focused on “proving the point” that they are missing the point entirely: more and more families are experiencing levels of connection and communication with their children that are beyond their wildest dreams.

I don’t expect institutions to quickly change their minds or suddenly support families who have devoted decades of their lives to understanding even the most basic preferences, thoughts, and experiences of their children.

What I do know is that something extraordinary is happening. As more and more nonspeaking individuals find ways to express themselves, their voices become harder to ignore. Many of the messages being shared are thoughtful, insightful, deeply empathetic, and filled with love. God bless this journey. ❤️

We love music. We listen to it to get high, to get low, to connect, to move, to feel, to remember, to relax, to become present… music is universal and divine. Leia feels it all. It pierces through her multi-dimensional being. She loves seeing us smile.

I have had many situations where I am required to be disciplined and stick to a routine and it’s definitely challenging. But I can also see the reason why I am where I am today is because of all the hard work. One way or the other I have to face discomfort and I choose the challenging short-term stuff to support myself and my family because it always pays off in the long-term.
