Your attendance matters. Per the chapter’s standing rules, voting must take place in person, and a quorum of one-third of voting members is required to proceed.

In celebration of WIC Week®, join us at the newly built CBIZ headquarters for an evening dedicated to connection, growth, and empowerment. The event will kick off at 4:30 PM with a social hour, dinner, and the NAWIC Cleveland membership meeting.

At 5:30 PM, featured speaker Mandy McIntyre, Founder of Level Up Consultants, will lead an interactive workshop, Breaking Barriers, Building Confidence: Unleashing Women’s Potential in Construction. This transformative two-hour session will explore the unique challenges women face in the construction industry and offer practical strategies for building confidence, amplifying voices, and overcoming obstacles. Participants will gain valuable tools for personal and professional advancement.

Celebrate the start of Women in Construction (WIC) Week with a behind-the-scenes look at the Willoughby Police Station Facility project! Join NAWIC Cleveland member Billiejo Smith, RA, of Bowen+ Architects, along with Infinity Construction, the onsite contractor, for this unique site visit.

Tuesday, March 3rd at 4:00 – 5:00 PM EST | 37733 Euclid Ave, Willoughby, Ohio 44094

What began as the 25,000 sq. ft. Meister Media Worldwide Building is being reimagined and expanded into a state-of-the-art 45,000 sq. ft. facility. Billiejo, the project’s Construction Admin Architect, and Brian Hennies, the project’s Architect, will guide us through the site and highlight specialized design features, including the tornado shelter and firing range. She’ll also provide a hands-on look at unique material samples, such as ballistics-rated windows and reinforced wall systems.

Safety Requirements (Required PPE)
This is an active job site. All attendees must wear:
- Protective Footwear: Rated boots are ideal; at minimum, sturdy, closed-toe shoes are required.
- Hard Hat: Bring your own if possible; a very limited number of extras will be available at the jobsite.
