A little late but congratulations to Maverick Durden on becoming the first 2x lifter of the month! Maverick has been one of if not the most consistent lifter we have had not missing a day in the month of May. Maverick is a quiet leader, but when he speaks the team listens. He leads by example and encouragement! Congrats Mav!!

Some cool things going on within the Independence football program. We linked up with Independence Youth Football and provided a 3 day camp for more than 50 youth football players k-6. While that was taken place more than 15 IMS players joined Coach Weiss at his school helping out with Special Olympics Day!
