Fun items spotted this week architectural salvage store. 😍 We were searching for replacement door parts for Devonshire apartment building (we were successful!). We even brought back some items to spruce up our office with…Two wicked cool antique bumpers from an old firehouse. We are going to turn them into planters. Will post pics soon!

This old dog is up to the same old tricks…and I am loving it! 🐶💕 My first big project at my new job with involves an old historic apartment building. It has stained glass, wood floors, antique door hardware…you know…all of my favorite things! 🌼 The building owners did a wonderful (and very noble) thing by saving this piece of Indianapolis history. She (Devonshire) was in a pretty sad state, but we are getting her fixed right up. Looking forward to fully bringing her back to her former glory. 😍

SOLD! We simply can’t contain our excitement any longer…1121 Hamilton has found her people! They are PERFECT for this house, and we love them already. I had the privilege of giving them a personal tour the day of their first showing. I knew the moment the wife complimented the stained glass front door, and even mentioned that it was one of her favorite parts when looking at pictures online, that I wanted them to make this their home. The husband pointed out the fancy glass door k***s (throughout the whole house), and I was simply smitten. They have two young children with another on the way. They looked at 50+ houses before finding this one (they even had a spreadsheet with equations for determining the “perfect” match, a couple after my own heart!). It made me so grateful that no one else had purchased her yet, because I can’t imagine anyone else here. I can’t really explain it, but it just felt…right. I could see them here. I could hear little feet pitter pattering down the halls, and a house filled with laughter and love. We are doing a couple of really fun upgrades for them, which the team is pumped about. We are installing a pot filler next to the stove, and swapping out a few of the cabinet door fronts with glass. Hooray and thank God for His perfect timing (which is not always my perfect timing, but I can see now they were worth waiting for!). 💕

We did a little refresh on the decorating at Hamilton. We were getting bored with beige, plus someone told us it felt like a seance was taking place in the front living room 😹👽👻. What do you all think of the update?
