The Ripple Effect Orlando

Chris came up to us with a bible in his left hand and a determined look on his face....I had seen this before: He was Christian and thought we were fortune tellers that needed Jesus. I quickly explained that we were all actually Christians too and that we were out in Broad Ripple kind of "undercover" so that unbelievers would be drawn in to speak with us. He sat down and I asked him if he had ever been prophesied over. He said no and then the fun began....We started to prophesy to him and we were getting a lot of stuff right. At one point he exclaimed "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?" as he shook his head and continued to listen. The words included accurate bits about his need to be perfect and holding himself to a crazy standard, his need to share his whole heart with his wife, a self degrading mentality, a passionate, bold, and daring heart, a future in short term missions, and several others. After we finished we could tell he was visibly shaken and had just encountered Jesus in a way he was previously unaware was possible. He was so moved and affected that he sat right behind us for the rest of the night just to watch and see how we did this. When we saw his wife come over we asked if we could pray and prophesy over her....She said "no thank you", but He said "YES!". hahaha....and he took her by the hand and led her to sit down with us. The first word we gave her was that she had some doubts about her ability to be a mom and that God was wanting to affirm that she had more than enough ability to be a great mom. She looked shocked and told us she was currently EXPECTING A BABY! Needless to say we had her attention and continued to blast her with 10 minutes of accurate encouraging words form Jesus. This isn't just for non-christians....Jesus loves to surprise everyone.
