H.A.G.H.G.S! (Have a good horse girl summer ☀️🐴)

05/13/2026

So far, 2026 has been the year the equestrian lifestyle grows beyond the confines of barn aisles and into mainstream fashion, interior design, and travel. For those of us who have accepted the “weird horse girl” moniker for many years, it’s so exciting to see the rest of the world embracing what we’ve always known: horses are cool!

Maybe that’s why now feels like the right time to release a body of work I’ve been sitting on for nearly an entire year, after a solo riding trip to Italy. I hope these images feel grounded and maybe even a little nostalgic, or like bringing a piece of the outdoors in. They’re for anyone who wants their home to feel warm and connected to nature.

My fiancé cleverly delivered my Christmas gift in the form of a scavenger hunt around our house. The first item I located was a Budweiser tall boy tucked into the fridge; the second, a National Parks magazine; and the third, a new ornament hiding in plain sight on the tree—rosy-cheeked Santa in an airplane. I put on my Sherlock Holmes cap and decided those clues could only mean one thing: we were taking a trip to Clydesdale Outpost in Whitefish, Montana.

Almost every window of our cozy cabin looked out onto the horses (how cute is that little fireplace!). We had cuddle time with the foals, and saw bald eagles dotting the sky on the daily and a pair of moose on the side of the road at Glacier National Park. It was my first time visiting Montana, but it certainly won’t be the last—it really is something else out there

I traveled solo to Italy last spring, sleeping in a 400-year-old farmhouse where our tiny group set out each day, criss-crossing the surrounding hills and valleys on horseback.

It was a slightly precarious time to be there; my senior horse had passed away just a few weeks before, and yet there I was, taking in the beautiful patchwork of Tuscany through a different set of ears, trying to work through so many big feelings.

Over the past year, I’ve found myself returning to these images, drawn to their warmth, colors and flavors (oh, the olives!). Captured in and out of the saddle, they’ve become a bit more than just a memory of a trip.

The Tuscan Farm fine art collection arrives next month, finally ready to live somewhere beyond my camera roll (and maybe on your walls).
