I've been helping hold onto a secret... for a whole year 🤫

Today, Ashley and Giovanni are holding their wedding with family and friends gathered. I'm sure they're sharing happy tears, sweet reunions, and what I suspect will be a packed dance floor. 🪩

Now let's rewind exactly 365 days.

Ashley and Giovanni climbed a mountain on the solstice, exchanged private vows and reveled in the glorious sunset. They hiked down that mountaintop as husband and wife.

Today, their private vows have been made public, and they can stand facing the world declaring out loud that they are one.

I'm equally touched by intimate, intentional elopements and loud, joyful gatherings of friends and family, and this day proves you can have it all. 🌄

Morgan and Darren may have gotten incredibly misty, rainy skies for their Pretty Place wedding, but what a story they have to tell! I've never quite seen the chapel like this - the clouds crept INTO the building, filling the ceremony with literal atmosphere.

The chapel still stunned in the fog - whether you get mountain views or clouds floating into the space, it's always a magical experience being up at Pretty Place .

Offering words of wisdom.
Officiating ceremonies.
Pinning boutonnieres.
Walking their children down the aisle.
Fluffing veils and straightening trains.
Tearing up the dance floor.

Just as they do in the rest of life, moms wear many hats on a wedding day. To these incredible women and those celebrating them or honoring their memories - Happy Mother's Day. 💐

Maddie and Jacob tied the knot in the Blue Ridge Mountains, in a ceremony officiated by their best friends who helped bring them together, tailored perfectly to fit them.

It's sweet days like these that remind me how blessed I am to bear witness to love and beauty, as my JOB. Are you kidding me?! Thirteen years in, and it still gets me sometimes. 🥹
