As a Surety Bail Bondsman, you will get to build a lot of relationships with people and encounter unique situations. A bail bondsman can work as a representative of the agency or can work independently. A Bondsman is an independent contractor and can make their own schedule. Their roles include:

• Receive client inquires
• Completing and reviewing paperwork
• Taking payments
• Submitting paperwork and payments to the agency in a timely manner
• Complete paperwork at the jail and ensure the release of defendants
• Maintain regular communication with clients and the agency
• Communicate with the courts

You must be licensed by the DOI to perform the duties of a bondsman. If you are not licensed, we have a program to help you get licensed anywhere in the state of SC.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
