Lately in my practice I get referrals almost daily for middle schoolers and high schoolers with a newly diagnosed eating disorder. We are not equipped as parents to know how to navigate these times where our kids are constantly inundated with images of people that only exist in a digital world, heaps of misinformation, and the latest and greatest influencers propagating toxic diet culture (*sorry for the cliche, but it’s true!!)
Although I am a who works with these diagnoses, you bet I will be on this Zoom! And you should too!
