tasting evening, as we travel virtually around the distinctive and wonderful regions of Northern Italy while tasting some of the local specialties

When you think of the wines of Northern Italy, it may be that a crisp, refreshing Pinot Grigio or a big red Barolo comes to mind.

Or perhaps Prosecco is your fizz of choice?

Yet, from Liguria at the coast to Trentino-Alto Adige high in the Alps, these regions offer so much more.

Our Wine Building Block class will break through the often bewildering maze of grape varieties to be found here, explaining their provenance in terms of geography and climate, culinary traditions and the grapes themselves.
