Frequently, we will be posting this feature which will help inform voters about Mike's experience and thoughts on important issues facing Summit Township. Please send us any questions you may have and we'll do our best to address them in the future.

Question: How do your experiences make you a great candidate?

Mike: "I’m a two term trustee for Summit Township. I serve as the township board representative on the Township Parks and Rec committee, the township fire committee to put together a three to five year plan. I was the Township board representative for contract negotiations with the fire fighters union. I was a three term county commissioner and still have close ties with county officials for partnership issues. I’ve been on the County Parks board for 18 years, the past six years as chairman. I served 17 years on the Jackson DDA with four years as their chair. I served on the Jackson Public School Board for 10 years with two years as President. I also have served on the Trinity Lutheran church council for three terms. I would bring to Summit Township many years of proven leadership in many diverse organizations in our community."
