If I’ve learned anything through this health coaching journey, it’s to be present. Present with my husband and kids, present with clients and with friends. I don’t think I realized how many meaningful moments I’d lost to worry, to-do lists or trying to have the right response. And when I started paying more attention, I noticed conversations with others where I felt like the other person was.. somewhere else? This made me notice it even more in myself, I’d be talking with my kids while mentally scrolling through my schedule that day and realizing I didn’t hear the last 3 sentences they said.
