This is something I’ve been dreaming about for a long time, and I’m so excited to finally be growing Bloom Events!

I’m currently looking for a Part-Time Event Assistant to join me at Bloom Events.

✨ Responsibilities:
• Event setup and breakdown
• Assisting vendors and shoppers during events
• Occasional administrative tasks
• Attending planning meetings before events
• Traveling to event locations throughout Northeast Tennessee

✨ Position Details:
• Independent Contractor (1099)
• Starting pay: $12.50/hour
• Paid travel for events
• Weekend work only (not every weekend)
• Opportunities for raises and growth within the company

✨ Requirements:
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable and punctual
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to lift event supplies and work on your feet for several hours
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed

This position would be perfect for someone who loves supporting small businesses, enjoys community events, and wants to be part of helping local entrepreneurs succeed.

Unfortunately, due to the forecasted rain and potential for flash flooding tomorrow, we’ve made the difficult decision to reschedule our Jump Into Summer Market. The safety of our vendors and guests will always come first.

Bloom started as a 2 a.m. thought and continued as a 3 a.m. prayer.

The past year of owning Bloom Events has been the best—and wildest—ride of my life. I’ve learned how to handle conflict professionally, push through burnout, and keep showing up even when it felt like everything around me was falling apart.

At every event, I have anywhere from 20–50 small businesses trusting me with a piece of their dream. That is something I never take lightly. I do everything I can to make sure each business feels valued, supported, and celebrated.

Watching your businesses grow has been one of the greatest blessings. Seeing customers lined up at your booths, hearing people tell me how much they love what you create, and watching your hard work pay off reminds me exactly why I started Bloom in the first place.

I share all of this because owning a business is hard. It’s lonely at times. The burnout is real. It comes with long nights, early mornings, self-doubt, and moments where giving up feels easier than pushing forward.

If that’s where you are today, don’t quit.

Take a moment to look at what you have built. Think about where you started and how far you’ve come. Be proud of yourself, even if you’re not where you want to be yet. Growth doesn’t always happen overnight, but every late night, every setback, and every small win is building something bigger than you can see.
