Bimini Blue Mustangs

For those that have followed along in the past, my original Bimini Blue hatch that my grandmother bought brand new off the lot in 1991, and that later became my first car and will be my son’s first car in a couple of years, is officially headed out for paint.

This build will happen in phases over the next year as part of a full rotisserie restoration, but today was a big milestone. Watching it get loaded up and head off with the painter is something I’ve been looking forward to for a long time.

I patiently hunted a couple years for a minty titanium rear hatch cover. Patience finally paid off and I scooped this one up 👊

Bimini is running strong, and we took it for a 2 hour cruise at the beach with the kiddos today💪
