Want to hear the coolest story?

A few weeks ago, I was asked to paint a memorial piece for a very special pup named Fozzy after he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. 🫶

As I looked through the photos and learned about him from his family, I could immediately see how deeply loved he was. I couldn’t wait to begin.

While I painted, I tried to quiet my mind and simply let my heart and faith guide each brushstroke.

Halfway through, I sent the family a progress photo. They were so excited that I had added mountains.

The funny thing? I hadn’t planned to paint them.

Something just kept telling me they belonged there, so I trusted it.

As I finished the painting, I added wildflowers across the foreground. Again, I had no particular reason. They just felt right.

Then came the reveal.

The family told me Fozzy was born in the mountains. They now live in Utah and have always loved them. Fozzy loved them too. Even more incredible, just a couple of weeks earlier, they had gone wildflower hunting together.

I had no idea.

Moments like this remind me that art can become something far greater than paint on a canvas. Whether you call it faith, intuition, or something we simply can’t explain, I truly believe God was guiding my hands and that somehow Fozzy was too.

I absolutely love when a painting reaches this stage. It’s that moment where everything starts coming together, and you can finally see their personality shining through.
