Spring should have been here by now, but it will be a little late it seems. Outdoor photography classes now are on the schedule at Norman Camera Kalamazoo.

Sports Photography
How to shoot High School sports for maximum impact by capturing the peak action. This class has three session. The first covers photography principles and equipment for sports shooting. There will be an assignment to shoot a sporting event by the last session. The second session covers shooting techniques and how to shoot all high school sports. The last session will be a viewing session of participants’ assignment photographs plus tips on shooting motor sports and any other sports participants may be interested in. Participants should bring their equipment to all sessions.

Macro Flower Photography Workshop
Get close to nature through your camera lens and enjoy the beauty of flowers. Learn simple techniques to photograph with a macro lens or alternatives. This workshop has three sessions. The first covers appropriate photo principles, equipment and techniques. The second session is a field trip to photograph flowers with demonstrations. Viewing participants field trip photographs is the basis for the third class. Participants should be familiar with digital photography principles and shooting in manual mode. Participants should bring their equipment to all sessions.
