No matter who we are or where we live, we all deserve good healthcare that doesn't make us go bankrupt. But, as millions of us face ever-worsening access to care and struggle under the weight of medical debt, big corporations are raising premiums, denying claims, and raking in profits. Here in New Hampshire, nearly 1 in 3 claims are denied each year. This isn't right -- and together, we can do something about it.

The Story of MPA
On December 6, 2016, shortly after the elections, Amy Hathaway invited a group of friends to her house - to commiserate, to share their angst, and to figure out WHAT THEY COULD DO!
By January 31 we had a name, a mission statement and had outgrown her living room., On January 31, 2017, we moved to 49 Community Way’s conference room - the first night over 70 PEOPLE showed up, fired up and ready to figure out what they could do!
Over time, the format has changed, and gradually the concept of “Working Groups” emerged - which is where the “boots-on-the-ground” work happens.
MPA has organized rallies on Central Square for Climate, Women’s Rights, Health Care, Immigration, & Education Concerns.
