We are counting down to Independence Day but did you know that there is one federal holiday before then? Nope, it's not Flag Day - that's not a federal holiday. It's Juneteenth! Juneteenth is a federal holiday and an important celebration of American freedom. Please check out the excellent opportunities for honoring the holiday that have been organized by the Keene Human Rights Committee.

Monadnock 250 Volunteer Form Help volunteer for the Monadnock 250th celebration of America's birthday!

I couldn't be more thrilled to share that the Keene Cheshiremen Chorus are going to be performing at Monadnock 250! They have been singing in the Monadnock area for 75 years, so it's really special to have a piece of Keene's history and culture to celebrate the day. They will be doing a performance on Railroad Square and then roving around Main Street and the downtown area. Thank you to the Cheshiremen for taking part!

I'm so excited to announce that on July 4th, The Colonial Theatre will be hosting a FREE showing of The Sandlot! It'll be a great way to sit down and cool off after viewing the parade. Concessions will be for sale if you need a snack. Many thanks to the beautiful Colonial Theatre for being part of the Monadnock 250 celebration!
