Playing with studio strobes, a 50mm f1.8 and an 85mm f1.8 lens. I'm using 2 Paul C. Buff Alien Bees 1600 strobes and a white vinyl backdrop. Very little post-work has been done in the pictures (most are exported right from the camera thru Lightroom 5).
The background strobe wasn't quite blowing out the background in some of the pictures. You can see it start to turn gray on the right third of some of the pictures where the light started dropping off. The desired effect is an "infinite white background" where Nikki would appear to be in a "Matrix" like white void.

The boys and I went south out of town to catch the sunrise this morning. Here's what we got. We were out in the middle of nowhere. The intersection of Coffin Road and Nine Canyons Road. Roughly halfway between the Tri-Cities and the Oregon border.
