The su***de hotline can now be reached by dialing 988. This new, shorter phone number will make it easier for people to remember and access mental health crisis services.

If you or anyone you know is in need of support, please call or text 988 to reach trained counselors who can help people cope with a mental health emergency and direct folks to additional resources for both mental health and substance abuse treatment.

Beginning January 1, 2023, Veterans Affairs Life Insurance program will provide guaranteed acceptance whole life coverage of up to $40,000 to , age 80 and under, with service-connected disabilities with no medical underwriting and no time limit to apply.
