The things you can find hiking in Tennessee...

I woke up to 43°F. Brrrrr. But it's still beautiful! Still in the cabin in the woods. I might come out soon. But I might not. 😁

I've been been enjoying some hiking and camping. From cabins to tents. From freezing temps to paddleboarding. Spiders, snakes, and a water moccasin. Spring is doing its best to hang on!

I promise, I am not dead yet! But life has been even too busy for margaritas and that's a dang shame!

This night right here was one for the record books. ...and one I'll be talking about literally for the rest of my life. Why?
hosted a hoedown for their 501c inside a barn, (you might know it from and 's video "Ride, Ride, Ride.") What an incredible venue...straight down to the barn cat!

For me, I've not felt so at home since I move to Nashville. Childhood nostalgia is an understatement... complete with a performance of "Elvia" from of the Oak Ridge Boys. Hearing that song took me right back to our farm just outside of Dallas, Texas. I could see 6 year-old me sitting on the fence watching the cows, or crawling through the hay singing "Giddy up, um-poppa-um-poppa, mow, mow. Giddy up, um-poppa-um-poppa, mow, mow. High-ho silver, away." So, Mr. Golden, if you saw me side-stage looking like I was total having a moment, I was!

The event was complete with line dancing, two-stepping, and BBQ!

And then there was the fellowship of friends. It reminds me just how small of world it's is. Pictured with me is (formally of Chapel Hart), and .michelle . How we've all connect is just another small world story. Its great to see what Danica has in store, including an upcoming solo album (with a her first release "Amazing Grace." - out now!) PS. I've had this hat for 24 years...and it still looks fabulous on me! I should wear it more often!

This Texas girl had another full circle moment Saturday! 🫶 I felt like I was in a Hope Floats moment, and I needed that!
