Saw these kids pushing over a light pole earlier today. I suggest you keep an eye on your children if they’re yours.

I honestly can’t believe people still think this is okay in 2026. 😭

I was driving on a busy main road and noticed a pickup truck with **two kids riding in the bed**. No seatbelts, no restraints, no protection at all—just sitting back there in regular traffic like it was completely normal.

I tried honking to get the driver’s attention because I genuinely thought maybe they didn’t realize how unsafe it was. Instead, they just waved and kept driving like nothing was wrong.

I know some people will say, “We did it all the time growing up.” But this wasn’t a quiet country road. This was a road with traffic, stoplights, people changing lanes, braking suddenly, and all the usual risks that come with driving. One hard stop or one distracted driver could turn into a tragedy in seconds.

Am I overreacting, or does this bother anyone else? Is there ever a situation where kids riding in the bed of a moving truck is acceptable on a public road? If you saw this, would you just mind your own business or would you do something about it?

I ended up calling it in because child safety should matter more than convenience, and I couldn’t just pretend it was no big deal.

Our waitress walked up wearing a tight black top and bright white shorts that looked more like workout clothes than something you’d expect on the restaurant floor. Maybe some people don’t think twice about it, but when you’re sitting there with your family trying to enjoy dinner, it definitely stands out.

I’m not trying to be rude, but there really should be a difference between gym wear and a restaurant uniform. Am I overreacting, or does this feel a little too casual for serving tables?
