Ruff Road Revival
Ruff Road Revival is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue in DFW, TX focused on saving at risk animals and finding them furever homes.

For the first time this year, I’m reaching out to ask for help.
Many of you know that at the beginning of the year, Ruff Road Revival received an incredibly generous donation that helped carry us through months of lifesaving work. That support has allowed us to say “yes” to animals who otherwise may not have had a chance.
Unfortunately, over the last several months, our expenses have continued to climb. A shortage of foster homes has forced us to spend thousands of dollars on boarding costs just to keep dogs safe while they wait for a place to go. On top of that, we’ve had multiple medical cases whose expenses far exceeded the adoption fees we receive, as well as increased transport costs to get our animals to their forever homes.
Because of those combined expenses, our funds are now dwindling much faster than anticipated.
We don’t ask for financial help often, and we never take your support for granted. But today, I’m asking on behalf of the animals currently in our care and the ones we’ll be asked to help tomorrow.
If Ruff Road Revival has touched your life, if you’ve adopted from us, fostered for us, volunteered with us, shared our posts, or simply believe in what we do, please consider making a donation. Every dollar helps cover medical care, boarding, transport, food, supplies, and the countless expenses that come with saving lives.
We are committed to continuing our mission, but we can’t do it alone.
Thank you for supporting our rescue, our volunteers, and most importantly, the animals who depend on us.

💔 FOSTER NEEDED FOR RANSOM 💔
Ransom is a 1.5-year-old Lab mix who recently found himself back in rescue after a major change in his family’s circumstances. He was adopted from Ruff Road Revival as a puppy, so returning to rescue after spending most of his life in a home has been a huge adjustment for him.
Right now, Ransom is staying in boarding, but what he really needs is a foster home where he can decompress, feel safe, and be part of a family again.
🐾 1.5 years old
🐾 Male Lab mix
🐾 Dog friendly
🐾 Cat friendly
🐾 Crate trained
🐾 Very sweet and affectionate
🐾 Shy and fearful at first, but warms up with patience and kindness
Ransom loves people and other dogs, but all of the recent changes have understandably left him a little unsure of the world right now. Boarding is keeping him safe, but it’s not where this sweet boy belongs. He deserves a couch, a routine, and someone willing to give him the time he needs to settle in.
As always, Ruff Road Revival covers approved medical care and can provide supplies if needed.
🏡 Can you foster Ransom?
Even a temporary foster home would make a world of difference for this boy. Please comment below or submit a foster application if you can help.
Let’s get Ransom out of boarding and back into a home. ❤️🐾

Meet Camo 💙🐾
Camo is a 1-year-old, 60-pound Australian Shepherd mix with a fun-loving personality, a heart full of affection, and enough enthusiasm to make every day an adventure.
This handsome boy is the definition of happy-go-lucky. He wakes up excited about life and is always ready for whatever the day brings, whether that’s running around the yard, splashing in the water, playing fetch, or making new friends.
One of Camo’s favorite things in the world is water. Give him a kiddie pool, a sprinkler, or even just a water hose, and he’ll be in heaven. He also loves chasing his tail, carrying around chew toys, playing fetch, and enjoying a good bone.
Camo absolutely adores people and has never met a stranger. He’s incredibly friendly, affectionate, and loves attention. Whether he’s joining you for outdoor adventures or cuddling up after a long day of fun, he just wants to be part of the family.
Why you’ll love Camo:
• Friendly and affectionate
• Loves people
• Wonderful with kids of all ages
• Loves water, sprinklers, and the hose
• Enjoys fetch, chew toys, balls, and bones
• Happy-go-lucky personality
• Active and playful
• Potty trained
• Loves spending time outdoors
While Camo hasn’t spent much time around other dogs, he has shown submissive behavior when seeing them on leash and appears interested in making friends. Because of this, we think he would likely adjust well to a friendly, welcoming dog in the home.
Camo is potty trained, but because he has spent much of his time outdoors, he may need some consistency, reminders, and a brief adjustment period as he learns the routine in a new home.
If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who will keep you smiling, join you on adventures, and shower you with affection, Camo may be the perfect fit.

Meet Ranger 🐾
Ranger is a 3-month-old male Bloodhound mix with a goofy personality, a loving heart, and the cutest puppy charm you could ask for.
This sweet boy loves everyone he meets and is always ready to make a new friend. Whether it’s another dog, a cat, a child, or a baby, Ranger is happy to be part of the fun. He’s a social butterfly who simply enjoys being around his people and other animals.
Ranger absolutely loves to play. You’ll often find him zooming around the backyard, wrestling with dog friends, carrying around his favorite toy, or searching for his next adventure. When playtime is over, he’s more than happy to curl up beside you for snuggles.
Some of Ranger’s favorite things include bones, peanut butter, dog toys, and spending time with his family. He has a wonderfully goofy personality that keeps everyone laughing and a sweet nature that makes him impossible not to love.
Why you’ll love Ranger:
• Sweet, friendly personality
• Loves other dogs
• Friendly with cats
• Great with kids, including babies
• Crate trained
• Doing well with potty training
• Loves toys, bones, and peanut butter
• Playful and adventurous
• Affectionate and cuddly
• Full of puppy charm and personality
Ranger is crate trained, though he’d much rather be hanging out with his people if he knows you’re home. He’s a social puppy who loves being included in family activities and spending time with the people he loves.
At just 3 months old, Ranger is at the perfect age to continue learning and growing alongside his forever family. He’s looking for a home that will give him plenty of love, guidance, playtime, and cuddles.

Meet Raya 🐾
Raya is a 2-year-old, 65-pound Great Pyrenees/Lab mix with the perfect balance of playful energy and affectionate companionship.
This beautiful girl loves people and has never met a stranger. She’s friendly, loving, and always happy to spend time with her humans, whether that’s enjoying a walk, playing outside, or relaxing together after a fun day.
Raya is a medium-energy dog who loves spending time outdoors. Running, exploring, and playing are some of her favorite activities, and she’d love a family who enjoys getting outside with her. When the adventures are over, she’s more than happy to settle in and enjoy some quality time with her people.
Like many dogs, Raya is also a big fan of bones and is always excited when it’s time for a special chew treat.
Why you’ll love Raya:
• Friendly and affectionate
• Loves people
• Medium energy
• Enjoys running, playing, and spending time outdoors
• Loves bones and chew treats
• Potty trained
• Lets you know when she needs to go outside
• Crate trained
• Beautiful mix of playful and laid-back
Raya has done well with other dogs whenever she has interacted with them and has shown herself to be a friendly and social companion. In fact, she would thrive in a home with another playful dog. She can become bored if left to entertain herself for too long, so a dog buddy to wrestle, play, and explore with would be a huge plus for her.
She has not been around cats or children in her foster home, so we can’t say for certain how she’d do with them. However, given her friendly and affectionate personality, we think she’d likely do very well with children. If a home has cats, we would be happy to arrange a cat test to help determine if she might be a good fit.
Raya is potty trained and will go to the door when she needs to go outside. She is also crate trained, though it’s not always her favorite place, so she may hesitate a little before going in.
Raya is ready to find a family who will love her as much as she’ll love them. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who enjoys both outdoor adventures and family time—and would love a built-in playmate for your resident dog—Raya may be the perfect match.

Meet Haven 🐾
Haven is a 5-month-old Australian Cattle Dog mix with a sweet personality, a loving heart, and a bright future ahead of her.
This adorable girl loves people and makes friends everywhere she goes. She’s incredibly affectionate and enjoys being close to her humans, whether that’s cuddling on the couch, following you around the house, or soaking up attention whenever she can get it.
Haven also loves other dogs and enjoys having canine friends to play with. Her friendly, social nature makes her a joy to be around, and she’s always ready to join in on the fun.
One of Haven’s favorite things in the world is a good bone to chew on. Give her a cozy spot and a bone, and she’ll be one happy pup!
Haven has also been around a semi-feral cat in her foster home. While she’s curious, she’s respectful of boundaries and has done well learning when to give the cat space.
Why you’ll love Haven:
• Sweet and affectionate
• Loves people
• Friendly with other dogs
• Curious but respectful around cats
• Loves bones and chew toys
• Crate trained
• Doing well with potty training
• Doing well with leash training
• Social, friendly, and eager to please
Haven has not been around children in her foster home, but with her loving, gentle, and friendly personality, we think she would make a wonderful companion for a family with kids.
At just 5 months old, Haven is at the perfect age to continue learning, bonding, and growing alongside her forever family. She’s ready for a home that will give her the love, guidance, and adventures she’s been waiting for.

Meet Bella
Bella is a 2-year-old, 60-pound Australian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix with a heart of gold and so much love to give.
Like many great moms, Bella put her puppies first. She was found as a stray with her litter, and thanks to rescue, all of her puppies have found loving homes. Now it’s finally Bella’s turn to be someone’s baby.
This beautiful girl absolutely adores people and forms strong bonds with those she loves. She’s affectionate, gentle, and always happy to soak up attention from her humans. Whether she’s cuddling up for affection or following you around the house, Bella just wants to be part of the family.
Bella is also wonderful with other dogs and loves having canine friends to play with. She’s social, playful, and enjoys romping around with dogs of all sizes.
When she’s not playing, you’ll often find Bella doing one of her favorite things: rolling on her back in the sunshine with a big smile on her face. She also loves swimming, squeaky toys, and taking a good nap after a day of fun.
Why you’ll love Bella:
• Extremely loving and affectionate
• Adores people
• Wonderful with other dogs
• Loves swimming
• Obsessed with rolling in the sunshine
• Enjoys squeaky toys
• Perfect medium energy level
• Potty trained
• Non-destructive in her foster home
• Loves both adventures and naps
Bella has not been around cats in her foster home, so we can’t say for certain how she’d do with them. She does enjoy chasing squirrels and gophers outdoors, so any introduction to cats would need to be slow, thoughtful, and carefully managed.
With her gentle, affectionate nature, Bella would likely do wonderfully in a home with children and would make an incredible family companion.
Bella has done an amazing job raising her puppies. Now she’s ready for a family who will love and spoil her the way she deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal, sweet-natured companion who will happily join you for adventures and then curl up for a nap, Bella may be the perfect match.

🚨 FOSTERS NEEDED FOR 3 PUPPIES 🚨
These adorable 2–3 month old puppies are looking for foster homes so they can grow up safe, loved, and ready for their forever families.
🐾 Bernard
Bernard is the most laid-back and easygoing of the bunch. He’s a sweet, chill little guy who enjoys taking life at his own pace. However, he can be a bit of a food hog, so he needs a foster home where he can be fed separately and have his meals managed appropriately. Because of this, Bernard needs a foster home of his own.
🐾 Hermey
Fun-loving, playful, and full of puppy energy, Hermey is ready to bring joy and chaos (the cute kind!) to a foster home. He can be fostered with Buddy or separately.
🐾 Buddy
Buddy is another happy-go-lucky puppy looking for a safe place to land. He can go to a foster home with Hermey or on his own.
🏡 Foster Needs:
• Bernard — needs a solo foster home
• Hermey & Buddy — can go together or separately
• All supplies and veterinary care provided by Ruff Road Revival
These puppies are at a critical age where positive experiences and stability make a huge difference. Fostering gives them the chance to learn, grow, and thrive while they wait for their forever homes.
❤️ Can you open your home to one (or two) of these sweet pups?
📩 Comment or message us if you’d like to foster.
Sharing helps too—you never know who might be the perfect fit!

Meet Coffee 🤎
Coffee is a 2-year-old, 40-pound Australian Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her smile. After being found as a stray and raising her puppies, all of her babies have found their forever homes. Now it’s finally Coffee’s turn to find a family of her very own.
This sweet girl is incredibly affectionate and loves being with her people. Whether she’s soaking up belly rubs, snuggling on the couch, going for a walk, or playing with her dog friends, Coffee is happiest when she’s surrounded by love and companionship.
Coffee absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine companion. She enjoys running, playing, and burning off energy with her friends. As an Australian Shepherd mix, she is a medium-to-high energy dog who would do best in an active home that can provide both physical exercise and mental stimulation.
One thing Coffee is working through is some separation anxiety. Because of this, she’d be happiest with someone who works from home, has a flexible schedule, or is home more often than not. She forms strong bonds with her people and loves being part of their daily lives.
Why you’ll love Coffee:
• Extremely affectionate and loving
• Loves belly rubs and snuggles
• Friendly and social
• Dog-friendly
• Great with kids
• Enjoys walks, running, and playtime
• Walks nicely on leash
• Does well in a crate
• Doing well with potty training
• Fun, loyal, and eager to be part of the family
Coffee has done well with children, though she can get excited and is still working on keeping all four paws on the floor. Because she can be a bit of a jumper, she may accidentally knock over very small children while she’s saying hello.
Coffee would do best in a home without cats.
After everything she’s been through, Coffee deserves a family who will love her as much as she loves them. She’s ready to leave her stray days behind and spend the rest of her life as someone’s cherished companion.
