Today is June 23rd, also known as International Women in Engineering Day (INWED). INWED is a day where we honor the achievements made by women engineers, highlighting career opportunities in STEM and raising awareness about gender diversity. It is also a day to encourage the next generation of girls to pursue careers in engineering.

Today is a day to highlight the achievements that past women engineers have made, and how they have impacted our lives today. We celebrate current women engineers in the work force as well, for they are role models to encourage younger generations to pursue their interest in the files of engineering.
