Life has thrown some major blows at me these past few months. From my own health challenges, to losing the most important person in my life, and so much in between.

I don’t share a lot of my pain because most people, outside of a few, think I have it made. They immediately write me off as “strong”, or dismiss my feelings entirely. If I ever display any behavior unlike peoples expectations of me, I’m outside of God’s will & I deserve the challenges I face. That’s been my life since I was a little girl.

I don’t say this because I want a pity party. I say this because when my back is to the wall, God is consistently pulling me through. The support system I do have is such a blessing. I will never disregard their love and care, but even they have their own challenges and can’t always be there how I need them.

As I continue my journey through life, I want people to know that a part of my purpose is to help the unseen feel seen. I do what I do because I don’t want people to experience the things I’ve faced, and if they do, at least they won’t be in it alone.

So, when you see me going hard educating people about protecting what they love or anything else, know this is why. At some point, everything I’ve worked for will pay off. I’ll help so many people that I won’t even remember what loneliness or helplessness feels like. The only way out of rock bottom is up.
