Doss Deer Processing

Come January 1st, 2026, Doss Deer Processing will not be offering any specialty meats (summer sausage or jerky) for the remainder of this hunting season as we begin to prepare for closing at the end of the season. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause however, we hope you all understand.

As always, we will continue to process deer (standard and regular cuts) through the end of the season, January 11th, 2026.

Pricing Update Notice

We wanted to let you know about a few updates to our deer processing prices. These changes will take effect immediately upon using our new processing forms. As always, any previously quoted prices and deer already checked in will be honored at the old rates.
Updated Pricing
Sausage: $5 per pack with a 10 lb minimum (added to the regular cut price).
All-Sausage Option: $200 flat rate if you choose to have your deer made entirely into sausage with your choice of how you want your backstraps

Added Fat to Grind: $20 per deer.

Fair Pricing: We will adjust pricing based on the size of the deer (small deer) if needed to ensure fair and accurate charges.

These updates are necessary due to increased costs in fat and seasoning. We appreciate your understanding and your continued trust in our processing services.

If you have been text about meat being picked up and have not picked up please come and pickup. We don’t want to have enforce the 10 day policy, we are running out of freezer space.

Also if you have a cape out. We need it picked up asap.
