There's this game that I play quite a bit. Actually, I play it everyday. At each level of the game, I get a certain number of moves to complete the tasks successfully thereby enabling me to go to the next level. Now I've played this game long enough to know that no matter how difficult the level, at some point, even without the game helpers, things will fall right and I will complete the level and move on. I know this just as surely as I know that I'm a teasing tan man named Mike. But all too often, I get impatient and begin to think that I'll never win at this level without some helpers. Of course helpers cost money in a "free" game, $1.99 to be exact, and more, much more for people who allow the neverending frustration associated with these games, get the better of them. So just what does this to do with the things of God? Well, when the Hebrews crossed the Red Sea on dry land and looked back to see the Egypt consumed by the same Hand that had just saved them, they rejoiced, believed that they were the chosen of God, the He was their Father and Savior, and that He was worthy of their worship, praise, and obedience. But just as soon as the Red Sea was out of sight, the saving power of God was out of mind. Logic says that a God who saves you from and destroys the enemy who seeks your life, would surely not allow you to be consumed by thirst or hunger. And surely we would not suppose that the food we desire is better than the food He supplies. And surely we would not think that we need to hoard the food of our desire because He probably won't give us anymore. Not only does logic say that this God of ours will supply our every need and many of our desires, but our daily experiences say the same! But even knowing all of this, like Abraham, Issac, Jacob, Noah, David, Saul, Moses and the Hebrews in the wilderness, we convince ourselves that God needs our help to get things done, to get them done right and on time. So, we put our $1.99 worth of input into our situation, only to see that the results we obtain are always far less than the gifts that God has for us. We produce Ishmael when He intended Isaac. We choose to free Barabbas and nail our Savior to the cross, all the while being forgiven for not knowing what we do. And don't blame the Jews. He was up on that cross for our sins too! S, when they raised Him up on that cross, they unknowingly did what had to be done for anyone to be saved. While obedience is better than sacrifice, the sacrifice on the cross was infinitely better than the obedience of the so-called stewards of creation. And it still is! So, the next time you want to improve, help, instruct, revise, or otherwise alter the things of God at the altar of Molech, Baal, Golden Cadillacs, or whatever your favorite idol is, you might be better served to keep your $1.99 in your pocket, and your golden calf in it's molten form!

Be blessed children of the Most High GOD!😷😉

There are actually three tithes required under the law. In order to meet the requirements of the law, most Jews paid 23.33 percent in tithes yearly. So if you believe you are required to pay tithes and you are only paying 10%, you are in violation of the law.
Additionally, a tithe was never money. Bring the tithes into the storehouse meant exactly that. First fruits went into the silos/barns. If someone didn't tithe with produce, they had to redeem the tithe with an additional ten percent in currency. I don't care if someone gives their whole paycheck. But whatever you call it, tithe ain't it. Or do you have some hidden Levitical congregation to whom you're donating the first fruits of your soybean crop, or whatever it is that you're growing over there. And what storehouse/silo are you saving it in?
Besides, someone once said that God loves a cheerful giver, not a coerced one!
But you are right about most pastors working a job. And the premise that a poor pastor can't teach biblical economics just won't fly. Even Jesus said that foxes have holes... but the Son of Man has no where to lay his head. Methinks the congregation (and that's only in the Western capitalistic world) is much too invested in physical prosperity while God concerns Himself with our souls, rich man, camel, eye of a needle, trying to enter into the kingdom of heaven, and all that.😷🧐

Isaiah 40:10-15
[10]Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
[11]He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.
[12]Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?
[13]Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counsellor hath taught him?
[14]With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?
[15]Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing.

Isaiah was the holiest one in the land. The contemplation of the Most High gave him pause, and shed light on just how little he knew and just how holy he wasn't. Are we any better? I don't know about you but I'm not! 😷🐿️ Of course, I'm not one of you New Age Apostles and Prophets! 🧐😬
