The LCBA, in partnership with North Suburban Legal Clinic, will be offering a lunchtime CLE on Short-Term Guardianship on Wednesday, October 22nd at the LCBA office in Waukegan. The LCBA will also host a Pro Bono Celebration Member Reception on Thursday, October 23rd at the LCBA member center.

Each year Prairie State Legal Services selects an Outstanding Community Pro Bono Honoree from its geographic service areas. Honorees are recognized for their significant pro bono contributions over the past year, history of support, and dedication to helping clients.

Katherine has been a volunteer at Prairie State for three years. She has agreed to assist clients with some of the most contested family law cases—representing victims of domestic violence. PSLS can always rely on Katherine to say “yes” when many others say “no.” Thank you, Katherine, for your dedication to protecting members of our community.
