What a fun and active week at Discovering Pathways! 💙

We kicked things off with an adaptive workout at Shake It With Stesha, enjoyed great food and conversation during a lunch outing, and wrapped up the week with an afternoon of mini golf. From movement to social connections, it was a week full of smiles, laughter, and new experiences! ⛳🍔💪

Our group respite outing to the Mitchell Park Domes was both informational and fun! 🌿🌺

We explored beautiful plants and unique environments from around the world, but the Tropical Dome was definitely the biggest hit with all of its vibrant colors and scenery. A great day filled with learning, connection, and new experiences!

🔥🌭 Brat Hut = SUCCESS! 🌭🔥

Today, Discovering Pathways officially kicked grilling season into HIGH gear while working the Brat Hut at Hansen's IGA Market!

The grills were hot, the lines were long, and apparently the entire community decided today was the perfect day for a brat (and honestly… they were right 😄). Our grill master Dave worked overtime serving up one of BBQ season’s greatest masterpieces while helping fill bellies and spread smiles all afternoon long.

We had an amazing time meeting so many wonderful people from our community and could not have done it without our incredible volunteers. THANK YOU for showing up, pitching in, and helping us serve so many hungry brat lovers today! 👏❤️

Every brat purchased and every bit of support helps Discovering Pathways continue providing social respite opportunities for adults with special needs while giving caregivers a much-needed break.

So from the bottom of our hearts — thank you for supporting a great cause, our amazing volunteers, and possibly Wisconsin’s favorite food group. 🌭😉

What has Discovering Pathways been up to this week? 🕵️‍♀️

We put our teamwork and investigative skills to the test at Twisted Limits Escape Room—and solved the case! It was an awesome reminder of what can happen when individuals are supported, engaged, and working together.

We’re currently welcoming new participants into our social respite programming. Caregivers—need a break while knowing your loved one is in good hands? We focus on building relationships, confidence, and real-life skills in a fun, supportive environment.
