Good morning, First Washington family!

On yesterday, we were reminded from Psalm 118:24, “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” As we begin a new day, I want to encourage you to carry that truth with you wherever you go.

Today may bring opportunities, challenges, victories, disappointments, or unexpected turns. Some of us will receive good news, while others may have to navigate difficult moments. However, regardless of what this day holds, one thing remains unchanged: God is still God, and this is still the day that He has made.

Don’t allow the circumstances of the day to rob you of your praise. Keep God first in every decision, every conversation, and every challenge. When things go well, give Him praise. When things don’t go as planned, give Him praise anyway. Your worship should not be determined by your situation but by the faithfulness of the God who walks with you through it all.

As you go throughout this day, remember that God’s mercy is new every morning, His grace is sufficient for every need and His presence goes before you. Walk in faith, walk in confidence and walk in gratitude.

This is the day that the Lord has made, and no matter what it looks like, we will rejoice and be glad in it!
