This week, we passed our budget in the House that puts responsible spending first. Proud to keep Michigan moving forward.

At the State of the State address, I was proud to host Jeff and Cecilia from Big Brothers Big Sisters and Tyler from Huntey’s Clubhouse. These organizations are changing lives and investing in the next generation. Grateful for their partnership and the impact they’re making in our district.

Last week, Governor Gretchen Whitmer unveiled her executive budget proposal, outlining new spending priorities for the state. While investing in Michigan’s future is important, we must ensure we’re living within our means. Before considering any tax increases or new revenue, we should eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse and ensure existing dollars are being used effectively.
