Unpopular wedding opinion.. 🤍

I don't mind ceremonies that aren't unplugged.
I completely understand why some couples choose an unplugged ceremony. They want their guests to be fully present, avoid phones in the aisle, and keep their photos clean and I completely respect that.
But there's also something incredibly special about looking out and seeing the people who love you smiling from ear to ear, excitedly snapping a photo or recording a few seconds of one of the biggest moments of your life.
To me, those phones aren't always a distraction, they're a reflection of joy. They're grandparents wanting to remember the moment, parents trying to capture their baby's walk down the aisle, or friends who are just so excited for you that they want to save the memory too.

At the end of the day, there isn't a "right" or "wrong" choice. Whether you choose an unplugged ceremony or not, make the decision that feels right for your wedding. 🤍

It was so much fun getting to spend time with family I don’t get to see very often, and capturing their sweet personalities was such a joy.

Every time I am behind the camera, I am filled with the joy only Jesus can bring and am so grateful to do what I love. But it’s moments like these that remind me exactly why I fell in love with photography in the first place. 🤎

3 Wedding Photography Tips I Wish Every Bride Knew ✨

As a newly married gal and wedding photographer, there are a few things I wish every bride knew before their big day. These tips can make a huge difference in your wedding photos! 💍📸

1. Build extra time into your timeline! ⏱️
Things almost always run a little behind on wedding days. Adding a 15-30 minute buffer before key moments helps reduce stress and allows for more relaxed photos.

2. Trust your photographer! 🎞️
You don't need to know how to pose! We will guide you through everything. Some of the most stunning images happen when couples relax, have fun, and trust the process, rather than focusing on how they are posed and if it feels awkward or not.

3. Schedule a private moment together!💞
Whether it's a first look or just 10 minutes alone after the ceremony, taking a moment to slow down and soak in the day creates genuine emotions and some of the most meaningful photos.

At the end of the day, your wedding photos are one of the few things you'll have forever. Focus on being present, enjoying your people, and celebrating your love story. 🤍

Between moving, editing galleries, and photographing sessions, life has been so wonderfully busy lately, and I am soo very grateful!
