ABA Strategies for Gross Motor Development: Encouraging Movement at Home
Anderson Early Learning Academy is excited to launch Growing Together, a new family‑centered learning series designed to empower parents and caregivers with the same strategies and supports used in the classroom.
Why? Because children grow best when home and school work together.
Our Growing Together sessions will help families:
✨ Understand Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and how it supports communication, social skills, independence, and positive behavior.
✨ Learn practical tools—like reinforcement, behavior functions, and the ABCs of behavior—that you can confidently use at home.
✨ Strengthen carryover of the evidence‑based techniques used in your child’s educational environment.
✨ Build routines that encourage success, connection, and meaningful growth.
When caregivers understand why behaviors happen and how to respond, children experience more consistency, clearer communication, and greater progress across settings.
At AELA, we believe behavior is communication—and when families have the knowledge to interpret and support that communication, everyone grows together.

As we wrap up another incredible school year at Anderson Early Learning Academy, our hearts are full.
This season brings a mix of emotions — celebrating the growth, milestones, and achievements of our students, while also saying goodbye to those moving on to their next chapters. Graduation season is always a special time as we watch our students take the next big step forward with confidence and pride.
To the students who are leaving us, we are so proud of you and all that you’ve accomplished — you will always be part of the AELA family.
To those returning next year, we can’t wait to continue learning, growing, and making more memories together.
Thank you to our dedicated staff and supportive families for making this year so meaningful.
