📣 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED 📣

Looking for a simple way to make a difference in someone's future? TEC Centro Lebanon is seeking volunteers ages 18 and older to assist our Phlebotomy students as they build the hands-on skills needed to succeed in their careers!

🩸 By volunteering, you'll help students gain valuable practice and confidence while working toward passing their class.

📅 When: July 14 & 15
⏰ Time: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
📍 Location: 9 South 9th Street, Lebanon, PA

We had the honor of welcoming JeAnna Durnell-Roman, of Reading Hospital School of Nursing, and Shayne Shafer of Union Community Care. to speak with our new students about the vital role Medical Assistants play in healthcare teams.

Thanks to Julia Ansel, we have more amazing guest speakers lined up who will continue to share their expertise and stories with our students. The learning doesn’t stop here!

🩺 The Medical Assistant program prepares students for careers in healthcare through classroom instruction and hands-on skills training.

– Healthcare foundations, terminology, and anatomy
– Patient care, vital signs, and clinical documentation
– Phlebotomy, lab procedures, and exam preparation for CCMA certification

Medical Assistant Investment Fee: $100.00
29-Week (7-Month) Program | Provider: Harrisburg Area Community College
Part-time (7 months) or Full-time (5 months) options available.
Certificate of completion awarded jointly by Tec Centro Lebanon and HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College. Graduates take the National Healthcareer Association (NHA)’s CCMA certification exam.
