At KC Raqs World Dance, we are all about bringing the best in world dance to Kansas City.
We are back in the studio tonight!!! The parking lot still has a little snow/ice, so be extra careful out there. Reminder to ***please*** remove your street shoes while you are on the carpets near the windows, so we avoid tracking salt/snow onto the dance floor. Zoom is always an option if you are still snowed in. Either way, warm up with a fun belly dance class tonight!
We've got "Discover Belly Dance" for brand new dancers starting tonight at 6 PM (only a few spaces left!!!) and Intermediate Finger Cymbals tonight at 7:15 PM. Try to register before 3 so I have time to send you links and information!

When asked to write my Hemingway six-word story for a recent dance event intro, I wrote:
"Sewing seeds in dance, I bloom." And I think that says everything that needs to be said about Haflaween.
I'm just SO PROUD of my students, SO GRATEFUL to my support network and "helpers", SO IN AWE of this dance community. Every person who took the stage was a stunning success. An extra special congratulations to all those who took the stage for the first time, whether as a soloist or in a group. I cannot wait to see what is next for all of you!
