Wayne & Carol celebrated 50 years of wedded bliss today. Let me tell you what an honor it was to be present for this renewal of vows/family celebration. I left with my heart full of warmth from strangers! I laughed, I cried with them. Carol's smile is just the most contagious smile ever and my cheeks hurt from smiling while editing all these!
One thing that resonated with me the most during this day was Wayne got up in front of his 4 children and their spouses and said how proud he was and how he felt so successful and blessed in life that all of his children stayed close to home. Many kids move off to college and never come back, as "old married couples" are left alone with no one to help them. He was so grateful for his children to still be such an intimate part of his life.
I left there calling my mom, crying and apologizing for moving away.
I can only hope and pray that my girls will do the same for me and Eric one day.

(and I may be sneaking into their Christmas dinner this year, they are just the most fun family!)

Justin reached out asking to prepare a family shoot as a gift to his wife for his birthday...I took it to the next level and so glad I did!
We were successfully able to pull of a surprise shoot of Becca herself for her 40th...and then of course threw some family photos in as well.
Look at her glowing as she enters a new decade on life! She felt and looked beautiful as ever, and I was so happy to help a husband make his wife happy!
