The Reel Homestead has officially registered for the Lewiston Farmers Market! Last year was such an amazing experience, I had to do it again. In the off season, I experimented with garlic and figured it out. I will be offering garlic flavors now. I will also be selling bagels along with my breads, cookies, and scones. Thank you to all for your continued love, support and encouragement. I look forward to seeing you!

Due to the combination of being heavy handed on my sourdough starter and an extremely slow market, I have an abundance of bread left over. Not to see it go to waste, I'd like to see if any wants/needs bread at a reduced rate? All loaves $5 a piece.

Meandering about the internet, I found a new scone flavor: Derby Scones. A lot of walnuts with some chocolate chips. Oh. My. Goodness!! These are my new favorite. I definitely will be bringing these to the next market.

Did you know? My breads that I sell are SNAP eligible though the Lewiston Farmers Market. It's a simple process, you just need to visit the Information Booth prior to shopping the Market. The fresh fruits and vegetables that other vendors sell are eligible as well. What a great way to enjoy fresh local product!
