Blending poetry and burlesque into a single evening of performance, Opus explores the places where language and movement meet—where a poem becomes a dance, where a gesture becomes a stanza, and where vulnerability transforms into art.

If you've noticed things have been a little quieter than usual on our socials lately, you're not imagining it.

Over the last several weeks, BurLEX has dealt with repeated account restrictions, removed messaging features, content flags, and assorted social media nonsense. It's been a bit like trying to run a burlesque collective while someone periodically unplugs the internet and throws a raccoon into the server room. 😆

The good news: we're still here. We're still producing. We're about to start teaching again (yea, you read it!). We're still making weird, beautiful art. And June is PACKED.
