Help us welcome the newest addition to our team!

Samantha Adams will be joining us in August as a targeted case manager. Sam is from Powell County and received her Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Social Work from Morehead State University in 2011. Much of her professional career has been serving the people of Fayette County in varying capacities. She has a ton of experience in resource connection that we are very excited to bring on board to benefit our most vulnerable clients. Additionally, Sam has an impressive history of program growth that we hope will allow us to reach and serve more clients across Kentucky.

Meet our Executive Director, Hannah Marquez, MSW. Hannah is originally from Boyle County, Kentucky. She received both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Eastern Kentucky University. Additionally, she holds certification in Addiction Intervention. Hannah has 7 years of Social Work experience in various settings. The majority of this experience has centered on substance use disorder treatment. Hannah’s professional interests include reducing stigma associated with substance use disorders and reducing barriers to evidenced-based SUD treatment.

Hannah has been with Alteri Behavioral Health in varying capacities since 2020. She originally came on board to create and supervise our targeted case management program. Once that program became stable, Hannah began taking on a more administrative role in the agency until she was named Executive Director in 2022. Hannah led our successful 2022 CARF accreditation survey which resulted in a 3 year accreditation. Additionally, she focuses on the development and implementation of our program policies to ensure the ever-changing needs of our clients are met.

On any given day you can find Hannah in one of our 3 office locations serving clients and supporting our staff in whatever way is needed. Hannah’s treatment philosophy is to meet people exactly where they are, in the exact moment that they are ready. This is evident in her willingness to go above and beyond for both our clients and staff.
