Last spring with Sacha Jacq - still some of my favorites 📸

I’m booking portrait sittings into May/June if you’ve been thinking about it. DM me & let’s make magic ✨

Portraits all the time. New profile pics, occasionally.

Thanks for a fun studio test & for helping update my portrait while we were at it!

Photographing couples is such a gift; thank you for trusting me with your love 💕

A few favorites from over the years!

Never thought I’d see the day; digital being more expensive than film 😂

Jokes aside, I’ll still keep shooting both digital AND film in 2026 but man, if this doesn’t make me want to give up my digital camera entirely! I’m booking sittings for 2026 - shoot me a DM and let’s plan yours.

Recent darkroom work (week 4/52, if you’re keeping track) & a story ⬇️

I was recently gifted Sally Mann’s new book, “Art Work: On the Creative Life.” Man, when I tell you her writing has lit a fire under me, I mean it! 😮‍💨

She talks about art being *work*, a profession just like anything else. And the only way to get better at it is to do it over & over, to the point of obsession.

So, with that in mind, this was me getting in the darkroom and doing the work.

Darkroom Day 2/52 - holding myself accountable & getting hands on analog work at least once a week!

I just had the film back repaired on my Mamiya RZ67 & wanted to test it out.

What’s a film back? Glad you asked!

A film back is a light-tight box that attaches to a camera and is where you load a roll of film. They’re interchangeable, so you can shoot a few frames of black & white, say, and then maybe switch to color, etc. if you’ve got another back loaded.

Mine was scratching negatives, so I needed to test it before my next client shoot. Ended up doing a photo walk around my neighborhood, photographing the drained canals.

A large sleeve & a very chic hat - a little homage to Irving Penn on this National Hat Day! 👒
